Come once or regularly.
Sessions are organised to support the needs of our member kaitiaki and landowners. Voluntary jobs include: *collecting seedlings (trailer required) *potting and weeding seedlings *planting trees *weeding to protect new plantings *helping set up, serve supper, and/ or clean up at public talks.
Held every three months. Voluntary jobs include: *repairing electronics, bikes, clothing, leather, furniture, jewellery, bric-a-brac, computers/ IT *skills sharing: hosting mini- workshops, e.g. knife sharpening, puncture repair, DIY holiday decorations. Suggestions are welcome! *helping coordinate event days *hall set up and cleaning *welcoming and ushering visitors *registering visitors and items to be repaired *social media support.
Sessions are held six weekly (or so). As well as fix-it volunteers (see below) we are looking for a voluntary Project Coordinator. For details contact otakibikespace@gmail.com Other voluntary jobs can include: *fixing bikes *preparing bikes for giveaway, e.g. pumping tyres *welcoming and directing visitors *receiving donated bikes *organising bike sheds *matching bikes with their new owners.

Curtain Bank voluntary jobs can include: *sorting and measuring donated curtains *sewing curtains (e.g. resizing, hemming, adding liner) *helping install curtains.
