Leigh has been involved in alternative energy and resource recovery technologies for over two decades.
His business Blended Fuel Solutions NZ operates in Australasia and the Pacific.
A founding trustee, Leigh’s work for Energise Ōtaki has particularly focused on expansion of Power Up Ōtaki (including the Rau Kūmara solar farm), the Business Energy Service and Kai Power Ōtaki.
He is also the main hauler of donated bikes for ÅŒtaki Bike Space.
