Dave Rumsey

Dave is a mechanical engineer specialising in small machinery.

Cruising the South Pacific with his family - in the boat he built himself - gave him hands-on experience in off-grid living, renewable energy generation, energy efficiency and self sufficiency.

Dave focuses on Energise Ōtaki’s clean energy projects including Power Up Ōtaki and the Whakahiko Ōtaki Fund, and repair work for Ōtaki Bike Space.
